To enhance the development of scientifically-rationalized,
clinically-relevant, multi-disciplinary cancer research
Most major advancements in the prevention and treatment of cancer today draw upon research performed both in the clinic and the laboratory. The "Translational Interface" has been established to provide the infrastructure for fundamental scientists to investigate the clinical relevance of their laboratory findings, and clinical researchers to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying their clinical observations. The integration of these two lines of research will provide a platform for closer collaboration, foster multi-disciplinary understanding and raise the quality of research.
Taking advantage of our expertise and resources, we will work with investigators to design, optimize and execute workflows to provide investigators the most accurate, expedient and cost-effective means of getting anywhere from idea to result. Our services cover a large array of relevant tasks as shown below. Importantly, our emphasis is on customizing our service to suit the specific needs of the investigator.
To apply for service, please contact us to arrange for a consultation. We will discuss the feasibility, logistics, and timeline of the tasks, as well as provide a cost estimate. As a facility charged with enhancing research output, our charges are geared only to recoup the inevitable costs involved in supporting staff, reagents and consumables purchases, equipment maintenance and prioritizing to our mission goals.
